Dr Soumyaranjan Behera

Dr. Soumyaranjan Behera has been a pillar of the medical community in Odisha. He is the founder and director of OM SAI Nursing Home, a well-known healthcare facility in Nalco, where he has been practicing since 1990. Previously, he served as a Senior Consultant at District Headquarters Hospital, Angul (1980-1990) and worked as a Medical Officer at SCB Medical College (1975-1980). His expertise lies in managing chronic diseases, elder care, and community health initiatives.

Dr. Behera has contributed to research on healthcare for the elderly and community-based preventive programs. He led a study on "Improving Access to Healthcare for Rural Populations" (1995) and co-authored research on "Management of Chronic Diseases in Aging Populations" (2000).
