Dr.Umashankar Mishra

Dr. Umashankar Mishra has worked in leading neurological centers, treating patients with a range of neurological conditions. Since 2010, he has been a Senior Consultant Neurologist at Apollo Hospitals, Bhubaneswar. Prior to this, he served as a Consultant Neurologist at AIIMS, New Delhi (2005-2010). His areas of expertise include stroke rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease

Dr. Mishra has contributed extensively to neurological research. He led a study on "Advancements in Stroke Rehabilitation Techniques" (2012) and co-authored research on "The Role of Early Intervention in Neurodegenerative Disorders" (2015). His findings on "Innovative Treatments for Parkinson’s Disease" were published in the Indian Journal of Neurology (2018).

Dr. Mishra has been recognized for his work in neurology, receiving the Excellence in Neurology Award by the Indian Academy of Neurology (2019) and the Best Neurologist Award by the Odisha Medical Council (2017).
