Dr Victoria Edwards

Dr. Victoria Edwards has 7 years of experience in general practice since completing her MBBS in 2014. After completing her medical degree at University of New South Wales, Dr. Edwards moved to the Riverina to complete her general practice training and has been based in Wagga Wagga since 2014. She has worked at Trinity Medical Centre since 2017, where she has developed a keen interest in women’s health, including family planning and antenatal care, as well as LGBTI health and sexual health. Dr. Edwards also provides vaccinations and is actively involved in PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis) for the LGBTI community.

Dr. Edwards has been involved in research related to women’s health and LGBTI health, specifically focusing on preventive measures in sexual health and the importance of early screening for HIV and STIs. She has also contributed to research on the benefits of PrEP for HIV prevention in the LGBTI community. Dr. Edwards is interested in exploring accessibility and quality of care in sexual health and vaccination programs.
