Experience

Dr. Woo Tan is a General Practitioner with over 16 years of experience. He completed his medical degree at UNSW in 2005, following which he spent seven years working at various hospitals, including St. George Hospital, John Hunter Hospital, and Sutherland Hospital. These years gave him comprehensive experience in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgical specialties.

In 2012, Dr. Tan moved to Albury and joined The Gardens Medical Group in February 2014, bringing with him a strong focus on chronic disease management. His areas of interest include heart disease, hypertension, respiratory disease, and diabetes management. Dr. Tan is particularly passionate about geriatric and pediatric care, as well as performing minor surgeries like skin cancer excisions and lump and bump excisions.

Dr. Tan is also a qualified examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). He has further expanded his expertise in cosmetic medicine, offering services such as cosmetic injections, thread lifting, and laser treatments. Additionally, Dr. Tan is the Medical Director of the Seventh Layer Aesthetic Clinic in Albury, where he oversees cosmetic procedures.
