Dr. Angelina Kakooza-Mwesige

Dr. Angelina Kakooza-Mwesige is an experienced Pediatric Neurologist with over 12 years of practice in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions in children. After completing her MD in Pediatric Neurology in 2009, Dr. Kakooza-Mwesige has specialized in treating children with epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neurogenetic disorders, and developmental disabilities.

With 12+ years of experience, Dr. Kakooza-Mwesige has worked in Kampala, Uganda, where she is recognized for her expertise in managing complex neurological conditions in children. She works with children from infancy through adolescence, providing both medical management and rehabilitation therapies. Dr. Kakooza-Mwesige has significant experience in early diagnosis and intervention, aiming to improve the quality of life for children affected by neurological disorders.

Dr. Kakooza-Mwesige has contributed to clinical research in pediatric neurology, focusing on epilepsy in children, neurogenetic conditions, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
