contributions in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological cancers and vulvodynia
I am happy to treat gynecological and early pregnancy-related problems in women of all ages (>14 years). The most common reasons for visiting my office may include, for example, bleeding disorders, starting/changing contraception, menopausal symptoms, hormone replacement therapy, suspected inflammation, benign tumors of the ovaries and uterus, prolapse, urinary incontinence, annual check-ups, etc.
My special expertise is in the diagnosis of gynecological cancers (uterus, ovary, vulva), follow-up after cancer, and counseling regarding hereditary gynecological cancers or suspicions of them. As part of my research, I have become extensively familiar with the treatment of vulvodynia and other diseases that cause pain during intercourse (e.g. endometriosis). I also have years of experience in gynecological surgery, so if you are wondering whether your condition requires surgery, do not hesitate to visit my office.
If you are booking an initial appointment for vulvodynia or other pain during intercourse and/or chronic pain in the pelvic area, I recommend booking either 45 minutes or two consecutive 20-30 minute appointments so that I can thoroughly investigate and assess your situation. A 20-30 minute appointment is sufficient for a follow-up visit/check-up. If a suitable appointment is not available, you can book one by calling our appointment booking service.
