Dr. Daniel Black

Dr. Daniel Black has 12 years of experience in ophthalmology, having completed his MBBS in 2011 from the University of Sydney and his FRANZCO (Ophthalmology) in 2017. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Black worked as an intern and resident at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Westmead Hospital, where he gained extensive experience in general medicine and ophthalmology.

Dr. Black specializes in cataract surgery, retinal diseases, glaucoma treatment, pediatric ophthalmology, and corneal diseases. He is highly skilled in performing complex cataract surgeries, retinal laser treatments, and glaucoma management. Dr. Black is also experienced in pediatric eye care, including the treatment of strabismus (crossed eyes) and amblyopia (lazy eye).

Since relocating to Wagga Wagga in 2018, Dr. Black has been providing comprehensive eye care to the local community, focusing on preventative eye care, vision correction, and the management of eye diseases.

Dr. Black has been involved in ophthalmology research, particularly focusing on retinal diseases, glaucoma treatments, and pediatric ophthalmology.
