Dr. Gayatri Banerjee

Dr. Gayatri Banerjee has 12 years of experience in ophthalmology, having completed her MBBS in 2010 from the University of Melbourne and her FRANZCO (Ophthalmology) in 2018. After completing her medical degree, Dr. Banerjee worked as an intern and resident at Royal Melbourne Hospital, gaining experience in general surgery and ophthalmic care.

Dr. Banerjee specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, retinal disease treatments, pediatric ophthalmology, and oculoplastic surgery. She has performed numerous cataract surgeries, including laser-assisted cataract surgery, and specializes in treating glaucoma through both medical and surgical interventions. She also has expertise in pediatric ophthalmology, managing conditions like amblyopia, strabismus, and congenital cataracts.

Dr. Banerjee moved to Wagga Wagga in 2019 to provide comprehensive eye care to the local community. She offers routine eye exams, surgical interventions, and long-term management for eye diseases, including age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Banerjee has contributed to ophthalmic research, focusing on glaucoma management, cataract surgery, and retinal diseases.
