Dr. Hakan Korkmaz is an exceptional ENT surgeon with over 32 years of experience in otorhinolaryngology (ENT). He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1988 and completed his specialization in Otorhinolaryngology at the same institution in 1989. Dr. Korkmaz’s dedication to the field led him to further his expertise internationally, including a Clinical Fellowship at Wayne State University in Michigan, USA in 1998, where he spent two years working in the Department of Ear, Nose, and Throat. During this time, he participated in over 400 head and neck surgeries and trained several residents.

His specializations include treating laryngeal cancers, managing voice disorders, sleep apnea, and performing advanced nasal surgeries for conditions such as nasal septum deviation and nasal polyps. He also provides treatment for salivary gland cancers and various head and neck disorders, with a particular focus on pediatric ENT conditions.

As a member of many prestigious professional associations, including the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Association, the Turkish Rhinology Association, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head Neck Surgery, Dr. Korkmaz remains actively engaged in advancing the field of ENT surgery.
