Dr. Izabella Obál serves as Chief Physician and Clinical Associate Professor in Neurology at Aalborg University Hospital. She leads ALS and motor neuron research, directs multidisciplinary patient care, and bridges clinical neurology with translational research and technology development. Dr. Obál is the principal investigator on multiple research projects, with significant publications in ALS, biomarker discovery, and neurodegenerative disease pathogenesis, working collaboratively with both Danish and international teams to advance neurological care and research.
