Dr. Joanna Black

Dr. Joanna Black has 12 years of experience in ophthalmology, having completed her MBBS in 2010 from the University of Melbourne and her FRANZCO (Ophthalmology) in 2016. After completing her medical degree, Dr. Black worked as an intern and resident at Royal Melbourne Hospital and Westmead Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in general medicine and ophthalmology.

Dr. Black specializes in cataract surgery, retinal diseases, glaucoma treatment, pediatric ophthalmology, and corneal diseases. She is highly skilled in performing complex cataract surgeries, retinal laser treatments, and glaucoma management. Dr. Black is also experienced in pediatric eye care, including the treatment of strabismus (crossed eyes) and amblyopia (lazy eye).

Since relocating to Wagga Wagga in 2017, Dr. Black has been providing comprehensive eye care to the local community, focusing on preventative eye care, vision correction, and the management of eye diseases.
