Dr. Johnston graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, with a B.A. degree in English. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1990. He performed his residency in family medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pulaski County Medical Society. Dr. Johnston is married and has one son. His hobbies are hunting and fishing. The Johnstons are members of All Souls Church in Scott, Arkansas.
