Dr. Marko Andric

Dr. Marko Andric has 12 years of experience in ophthalmology, having completed his MBBS in 2008 from the University of Sydney and his FRANZCO (Ophthalmology) in 2016. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Andric worked as an intern and resident at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, gaining experience in general medicine and surgical procedures.

Dr. Andric specialized in ophthalmology and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO) in 2016. His expertise lies in cataract surgery, retinal diseases, glaucoma management, and pediatric ophthalmology. He has extensive experience in laser-assisted cataract surgery and managing age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. Dr. Andric also specializes in pediatric eye care, treating conditions such as strabismus and amblyopia in children.

Since moving to Wagga Wagga in 2017, Dr. Andric has been offering comprehensive eye care services, including routine eye exams, surgical interventions, and emergency eye care.

Dr. Andric has participated in ophthalmic research with a focus on cataract surgery, glaucoma treatments, and retinal diseases. His research includes studies on laser treatments for cataracts, new therapies for managing glaucoma, and advances in retinal disease management, including wet AMD and diabetic retinopathy. He has also been involved in research on pediatric ophthalmology and early detection of eye disorders in children. Dr. Andric’s research has contributed to advancing diagnostic tools and improving patient outcomes in ophthalmology.
