Dr. Marlene Bothma

Dr. Marlene Bothma has 14 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, having completed her MBBS in 2007 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She then moved to Australia, where she completed her specialist training and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2016.

Dr. Bothma specializes in high-risk pregnancy management, gynaecological surgeries, and infertility treatments. She is highly skilled in performing laparoscopic gynaecological surgery, c-section deliveries, and managing complicated pregnancies. Since moving to Wagga Wagga in 2017, Dr. Bothma has been providing comprehensive care to women through all stages of life, from adolescence to menopause.

Dr. Bothma has contributed to research on obstetric complications, particularly in the areas of gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, and high-risk pregnancies. She has published research on advanced techniques in laparoscopic gynaecology and early detection of endometrial cancer. Her research has been shared at national conferences and medical journals.
