She then moved to Australia, where she completed her specialist training and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2016.

Dr. Bothma specializes in high-risk pregnancy management, gynaecological surgeries, and infertility treatments.
