Dr. Michiel Botha

Dr. Michiel Botha is an experienced Radiation Oncologist with over 17 years of expertise in diagnosing and treating cancer patients using radiotherapy. After completing his MBChB at the University of Stellenbosch in 1999, Dr. Botha further specialized in Radiation Oncology, earning his FC Rad Onc (SA) in 2006. He currently practices at Mediclinic George, where he provides advanced radiation therapy techniques for patients with various types of cancer. His practice involves personalized cancer treatment plans that incorporate the latest advancements in radiation therapy to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.

Dr. Botha’s focus includes treating cancers of the breast, prostate, lung, and gastrointestinal tract, among others. He works closely with multidisciplinary medical teams to offer a holistic approach to cancer treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, and supportive care, ensuring his patients receive comprehensive care throughout their treatment journey.
