grew up in San Jose, California. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside and attended medical school at St. Matthew's University, where I received a scholarship. I completed my Family Practice Residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center (Michigan State University affiliate) in Flint, Michigan. I served as chief resident during my residency. Following that, I became an assistant attending professor for the Family Practice Residency Program. I received a faculty teaching fellowship at the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor. I received numerous accolades and honors. My interests include geriatrics, musculoskeletal injuries, dermatology, and women's health. I am a member of the American Geriatric Society and the American Academy of Family Practice. I am fluent in English and Vietnames and have working knowledge of Spanish. I enjoy basketball, traveling, fishing, and technologic gadgets.
