Dr. Noor Ali

Dr. Noor Ali has 11 years of experience in ophthalmology, having completed his MBBS in 2010 from the University of Sydney and his FRANZCO in 2015. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Ali worked as an intern and resident in various hospitals, including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, gaining extensive experience in general medicine and surgical procedures.

Dr. Ali specializes in cataract surgery, retinal diseases, and glaucoma treatment. He is experienced in both routine and complex ophthalmic surgeries, with a particular interest in laser treatments for cataracts and treatment of age-related macular degeneration. Since moving to Wagga Wagga in 2016, Dr. Ali has been providing comprehensive eye care, including diagnosis and treatment for glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular diseases.

Dr. Ali’s clinical practice includes providing preoperative and postoperative care for cataract surgery, intraocular pressure management for glaucoma, and retina care for diseases such as macular degeneration.

Dr. Ali has been involved in research related to ophthalmology, particularly in retinal diseases, glaucoma management, and cataract surgery innovations. His research focuses on minimally invasive procedures, laser therapies for glaucoma, and advanced treatments for age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Dr. Ali is particularly interested in early detection of diabetic retinopathy and developing methods to reduce surgical complications in cataract procedures.
