Dr. Okoro's journey into medicine began with a strong foundation in biology from Metropolitan State University, followed by years of hands-on experience as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and registered nurse. She went on to earn her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at St. John’s Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
