Dr. Omer Polat

Dr. Ömer Polat is a highly skilled Cosmetic Surgeon with 11+ years of experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries. He graduated with an MD from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2011, completed his residency, and then pursued specialization in Cosmetic Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2018.

During his career, he completed an observership at ASAN Medical Centre, South Korea, and was a visiting fellow at Töölö Hospital. Dr. Polat has worked in various hospitals where he gained surgical expertise in cleft lip & palate surgeries, congenital hand anomalies, maxillofacial trauma management, otoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelifts, breast augmentation/reduction, body contouring, and post-bariatric procedures.

He has performed numerous cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including breast reconstruction, head & neck reconstruction, microsurgery, facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and repair of facial fractures, establishing a reputation as a go-to expert in cosmetic surgery in Turkey.

Dr. Polat is actively involved in medical research and education, with several presentations at international and national cosmetic surgery conferences. He has authored publications on topics such as facial rejuvenation, reconstructive techniques, and microsurgical procedures. He also served as moderator at the 40th Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons National Congress, Antalya, 2018.
