Dr. Raymond A. Bencini is a distinguished medical doctor with a career spanning over five decades. He graduated from the University of Malta in 1967 and initially worked in Malta before joining the British Army Medical Corps in 1971. During his military service, he was posted to war-torn Northern Ireland and later served in Cyprus during the 1974 coup d’état and Turkish invasion. He was promoted to Major in 1975.
