He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Ashford Institute of Hematology & Oncology and is a faculty member at Ashford Presbyterian Community Hospital, where he trains and mentors medical students and residents. He has held leadership positions as Medical Director at the American Red Cross in San Juan, Director of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program, and Director of the Immunohematology Reference Laboratory. Dr. Morales Borges also leads clinical research as President and Principal Investigator of New Alliance Integrative Research, LLC, and oversees patient care and clinical programs at Integrative Optimal Health of Puerto Rico, PSC. He actively participates in international clinical trials, contributes to peer-reviewed medical journals, and has delivered lectures and educational programs for medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies, making him a distinguished leader in his field.
