Dr. Renuka Bathija

Dr. Renuka Bathija has 12 years of experience in ophthalmology, having completed her MBBS in 2009 from the University of Sydney and her FRANZCO (Ophthalmology) in 2016. After completing her medical degree, Dr. Bathija worked as an intern and resident at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, gaining substantial experience in general medicine and ophthalmic care.

Dr. Bathija specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, retinal disease treatments, pediatric ophthalmology, and oculoplastic surgery. She is highly skilled in performing laser-assisted cataract surgeries, treating glaucoma with minimally invasive techniques, and managing retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy. Her expertise also extends to pediatric ophthalmology, particularly in the management of amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (crossed eyes).

Since relocating to Wagga Wagga in 2018, Dr. Bathija has been providing comprehensive eye care to the local community, offering routine eye exams, advanced surgical procedures, and management of chronic eye conditions like macular degeneration and glaucoma.
