Dr. Gonzales has been practicing medicine for over 22 years and is board-certified in family medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in the Philippines where he also completed a rotating clerkship. He completed his family practice residency at the Family Health Center at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, New York. Prior to joining the Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Gonzales was in private practice at Archway Medical Center and Parkway Medical Center. Dr. Gonzales strives to provide all his patients with the best possible medical care and to meet all of their medical needs. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Practice, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, American Arthritis Foundation, Cherokee-Pickens Doctors Association and the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce. In his free time, Dr. Gonzales enjoys spending time with his two children, skiing, running, and playing golf, tennis, and soccer. Dr. Gonzales is fluent in Spanish and Filipino. He accepts most major insurance plans and is accepting new patients.
