Dr. Samih Guirguis has 30 years of clinical experience, with a diverse background in general practice, cardiology, and skin cancer medicine. After completing his MBBS and MSc in Cardiology in Egypt, Dr. Guirguis worked as a specialist physician in cardiology before relocating to Australia in 2003. After completing his basic physician training at several prestigious hospitals, including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), Dr. Guirguis retrained as a specialist GP and received his FRACGP in 2008. His professional interests include chronic disease management, particularly diabetes, respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD, obesity, and orthopedic conditions. Additionally, he is highly skilled in skin cancer diagnosis and surgery, holding multiple specialized certificates in dermoscopy, skin cancer medicine, and skin cancer surgery. Dr. Guirguis is also dedicated to teaching the next generation of doctors as a Conjoint Lecturer at UNSW Medicine and an accredited GP supervisor with the RACGP.
