Dr. Sandra Ngirmang

Dr. Sandra Ngirmang is an experienced pediatrician with over 12 years of professional experience in pediatrics. After completing her MD from the University of Hawaii in 2011, she has specialized in caring for children from birth to adolescence. Dr. Ngirmang’s focus is on neonatal care, pediatric immunizations, and childhood growth and development.

Dr. Ngirmang has worked extensively in Angaur Village, providing high-quality pediatric care, performing routine check-ups, and managing various pediatric health conditions such as respiratory infections, allergies, and childhood diseases. Her approach includes a strong emphasis on preventive healthcare and health education for families, ensuring children lead healthy lives.

Dr. Ngirmang has contributed to numerous research projects related to pediatric infectious diseases, immunization effectiveness, and child development. Her studies have focused on the impact of vaccines in preventing childhood diseases and the nutritional needs of children in island communities. She has worked alongside local health organizations to improve pediatric care strategies in Palau.
