Shelly Czopek is an outpatient dietitian at St. Charles Bend. After attending undergraduate school in Arizona, she did her internship combined with a master's degree in Chicago and then worked at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center for 15 years. She was a member of the adult cystic fibrosis team, coordinated a three-year research study and was on the lung transplant team, in addition to serving in many other clinical areas. Shelly has been in practice for many years and has experience in nearly every area except pediatrics, by design. She also was a state media representative for the Colorado Dietetic Association.

Hiking, snowshoeing and kayaking are her favorite pastimes, preferably spent with her golden retriever, Roxy.
