His research primarily focuses on the advancement of treatment protocols for neurological disorders and improving patient care in the acute and chronic phases of neurological diseases.Dr. Deshmukh has authored several research papers and articles in prominent journals. Notably, he co-authored a study titled "Multicentric Survey of Epidemiological Features, Clinical Characteristics, and Management Practices Among COVID-19 Patients in the Emergency Departments under SEMI-WHO Collaboration" in 2021, which provided insights into managing neurological manifestations of COVID-19.Additionally, Dr. Deshmukh contributed to "Transfer to ICU & OT Protocol - Health Quest (Quality Upgradation Enabled by Space Technology) India" in 2018, focusing on the application of advanced space technology in improving ICU and OT protocols for neurological patients.His research interests also include the management of acute coronary events (MACE), which he explored in collaboration with ICMR through the MACE Registry Study conducted from 2012-2014.
