Dr. Simon Benstock has 12 years of experience in gastroenterology, having completed his MBBS in 2009 from the University of Sydney and his FRACP (Gastroenterology) in 2017. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Benstock worked as an intern and resident at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, gaining experience in general medicine and gastroenterology.
Dr. Benstock specializes in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hepatitis B and C, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and liver diseases. He is highly skilled in performing endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). He has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques for diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal conditions.
