Dr. Smita D’Souza is a dedicated Consultant Pediatrician and Neonatologist with over 11 years of experience in the field of child health and neonatal care. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kolhapur, followed by an MD in Pediatrics from the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.To further hone her expertise, Dr. Smita underwent advanced neonatal training at the renowned Westmead Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Her clinical skills encompass a wide range of pediatric and neonatal services, including neonatal intensive care, general pediatrics, and the management of high-risk and preterm newborns.Dr. Smita D’Souza has contributed to academic literature with two publications in indexed journals and has also authored and co-authored three chapters in the book Breastfeeding: Art and Science of Lactation. Her commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuing education reflects her passion for improving pediatric and neonatal outcomes.She is fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English, which helps her connect effortlessly with families from diverse backgrounds.
