Dr. Thomas Arthur

Dr. Thomas Arthur has 12 years of experience in general surgery, having completed his MBBS in 2008 from the University of Sydney and his FRACS (General Surgery) in 2016. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Arthur worked as an intern and resident in Sydney, where he gained exposure to a variety of general surgical procedures and emergency surgeries.

Dr. Arthur specializes in laparoscopic surgery (minimally invasive surgery), colorectal surgery, and abdominal surgeries. He has extensive experience in performing laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and colorectal resections. Dr. Arthur is also skilled in emergency surgery, including appendectomies and trauma surgeries. Since relocating to Wagga Wagga in 2017, he has provided specialized surgical services to the community, performing both elective and emergency surgeries.

Dr. Arthur has been involved in general surgery research, with a particular focus on minimally invasive surgery, colorectal surgery, and surgical outcomes. His research has contributed to studies on innovations in laparoscopic procedures, early recovery after abdominal surgery, and minimizing complications in colorectal surgeries.
