Dr. Valerie Flores is a dedicated reproductive endocrinologist who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and couples navigating fertility challenges. Her clinical approach is informed by a strong research background and a deep personal commitment to helping patients build their families. As the eldest of four and a member of a large extended family, Dr. Flores understands the emotional and cultural importance of family-building. Her warm, empathetic nature and dedication to innovation ensure that her patients are not only supported but also empowered with the latest reproductive science throughout their journey.

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Flores received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University, and returned to Yale for her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). After completing her training, she served as an Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine and was selected as a Reproductive Scientist Development Program (RSDP) K12 grant scholar, a prestigious NIH-funded program. Her research focused on the molecular mechanisms behind endometriosis-related pain and infertility, inspired by a family member’s experience. Dr. Flores now translates her scientific expertise into compassionate care for patients facing infertility and reproductive health challenges.

Dr. Flores is actively involved in the academic and research community, having received several prestigious awards and contributed to major publications in the field. She is the Chair of the Endometriosis Special Interest Group for the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and regularly presents at national and international conferences. In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Flores enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
