After completing his medical degree, Dr. Apel worked as an intern and resident in Sydney, gaining experience in general surgery and ophthalmic care.

Dr. Apel specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and retinal disease treatments. He has performed over 500 cataract surgeries and is skilled in laser-assisted cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation.
