Gaurav Prakash

Dr. Gaurav Prakash has been practicing as an orthopedic surgeon for nearly two decades. He began his career as a Resident Doctor at AIIMS, New Delhi, gaining advanced surgical skills in joint replacement and trauma care. From 2010 to 2016, he worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Ranchi Bone and Joint Hospital. Currently, he is the Head of Orthopedics at Patna OrthoCare Hospital, specializing in minimally invasive procedures and advanced joint replacement surgeries.

Dr. Prakash has conducted research on innovative techniques for joint replacement and the use of biologics in orthopedic treatments. His studies on “Advancements in Total Knee Replacement” have been published in the Indian Journal of Orthopedics. He has also presented his findings at national and international conferences, contributing to the field of orthopedic innovations.

Dr. Prakash has been recognized for his excellence in orthopedic care. He received the “Best Orthopedic Surgeon Award” from the Bihar Medical Association in 2016 and the “Excellence in Joint Replacement Surgery” Award from the Indian Orthopedic Association in 2021.

Dr. Gaurav Prakash has authored the book "The Future of Orthopedic Surgery: Innovations and Techniques" (2019). His articles have been featured in reputed journals such as the Indian Journal of Orthopedics and Orthopedic Advances, focusing on advanced surgical techniques, patient rehabilitation, and new technologies in orthopedics.
