With over two decades of dedicated service in nephrology and kidney transplant surgery, Dr. Kumar has held several prominent positions:

• Associate Professor: ESI Medical College, Faridabad
• President: Delhi Nephrology Society
• Head of Nephrology: Escorts Hospital, Faridabad (which later became Fortis Hospital)
• Chairman of Renal Sciences: Accord Superspeciality Hospital, Faridabad

Dr. Kumar has actively contributed to clinical research in nephrology. During his DM training (1999-2002), he participated in several research projects, some of which were published in peer-reviewed indexed journals. His research interests include advancements in dialysis techniques, strategies to retard CKD progression, and innovations in kidney transplantation. He is regularly invited as faculty for various regional and national nephrology, dialysis, and transplant forums, reflecting his ongoing commitment to academic pursuits.

Dr. Kumar's contributions to nephrology have been recognized through several accolades:

• Young Investigator Award: Presented in Japan for his research contributions.
• Swasth Ratan Award: Conferred by the Health Secretary of Haryana on March 4, 2018.
• CME Excellence Award: Awarded by the Health Ministry in August 2019.
• Fellowship of the Indian Society of Nephrology (FISN): Conferred by the Chief Minister of Orissa on December 20, 2018.
