Born on April 29, 1942, in Berhampur, Ganjam, she pursued her MBBS from Utkal University in 1965 and later completed her MD in Internal Medicine at AIIMS, New Delhi, in 1970. With a specialization in internal and geriatric medicine, Dr. Madhusmita began her illustrious career at MKCG Medical College, Berhampur, where she served as a Senior Consultant and Head of the Internal Medicine Department. Her dedication to patient care and teaching led her to contribute significantly to medical education and the healthcare system in the region.
