The 4th City Clinical Hospital named after N.E. Savchenko began its historical journey in 1954 , when construction of the fourth clinical hospital began to provide medical services to the newly created microdistrict of Minsk on Karl Liebknecht Street.
Three years later, in 1957 , the first three-story therapeutic building was put into operation, on the basis of which an anti-tuberculosis dispensary and a hospital with 140 beds were opened.
On October 1, 1960 , the construction of the main building was completed and, in accordance with the decision of the Minsk City Executive Committee No. 499 of September 22, 1960 , the 4th City Clinical Hospital (hereinafter referred to as the 4th City Clinical Hospital, hospital) with 700 beds was officially opened.
In 1960, the 4th Clinical Hospital included:
3rd polyclinic for adults; 3rd children's polyclinic; 12th children's polyclinic; 3rd tuberculosis dispensary; 17 inpatient departments with 700 beds.
