The Abbasi Shaheed Hospital is proud to be counted among the best hospitals in Karachi. It is the third-largest public hospital in the city and is situated in one of the most populated areas. It is run by the Karachi City Government.

At the time of its completion, the hospital had a total expense of 2.5 crores. It was opened as the second most technologically advanced and well-equipped hospital at the time, and it has brilliantly evolved to meet the transforming needs of modern medicine and healthcare.

Abbasi Shaheed has also become a teaching hospital for Karachi Medical and Dental College. It is dedicated to providing the highest caliber of healthcare and medical education. Since that time, the two institutions have worked together to support one another in a way that has aided in the spread of healthcare services and education.
