My husband, Steve, was transferred to Advanced Care from the Clinic on February 10th. I was impressed with the team approach and how everyone communicated with me. Sadly, his condition worsened and on February 19th he made the decision to stop intervention and transition to comfort care. At that time, the doctor explained what would be given and what to expect. They brought in a cart of drinks and snacks for the family members that came to say their good-byes. We were assigned the same day and night nurse until he passed away on February 22nd. At times we had up to 12 people in his room. We were never made to feel we were in the way or a nuisance. They worked around us and showed patience with our comments and questions. I am very grateful for the care they gave my husband and my entire family.

I can’t say enough about this hospital, I have been there twice and both times were great. The staff is very caring and helpful, some of the sweetest people I have ever met. If I ever have to go back to rehab this is where I want to go.
