Relatively new VA facility. Specialists as good as what other VA clinics have. It can get challenging to see PCM, as Alaska has a high per capita veteran population. They are still growing capacity and capability, but the facilities are very nice, and the staff are very helpful and capable.~Valerie Pettit

This is where I got started in the VA medical system as an inpatient at JBER DOD/VA joint venture hospital. It is better than any VA or DOD facility I have been to previously or since! Alaska treats it's Vets better than other states I've been to but medical care is sometimes hard to get to because AK is so big.~Jimmy Miller
