AIIMS Raipur is one of the six premier healthcare institutes established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY), with the aim to correct regional imbalances in quality tertiary healthcare and medical education. Established in 2012, AIIMS Raipur operates as an autonomous public medical university and hospital, providing advanced medical care, education, and research.
