Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is a leading non-profit pediatric healthcare organization based in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Since its founding in 1999 by Japanese photographer Kenro Izu, AHC has provided over 2.5 million treatments to Cambodian children. The hospital was created to offer world-class medical care accessible to all Cambodian children, regardless of their ability to pay. Today, 98% of AHC’s 500+ staff members are Cambodian, reflecting its vision of a hospital for Cambodians, run by Cambodians.

AHC is a pioneering teaching center of excellence, inspiring and training the next generation of Cambodian health professionals. Its mission centers on improving the health of children throughout Cambodia by creating a sustainable and replicable healthcare model, in cooperation with the Cambodian government.
