I was born in this hospital, 1965. I was doing some research on it to find out, where exactly I was born. My father was a german citizen, working for a swiss airplane company and stayed in Cairo for 4 years. My mother and her family where greek immigrants, who lived in Egypt at the time for three generations. Reading the history of this hospital makes me feel like beeing part of history itself. It is so wonderful to see, that in these days, it is still going strong. No more maternity ward, but other important fields of medicine. Blessings from Germany.
