Ankeny Medical Park Surgery Center (AMPSC) is a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery facility established in 2019 as a joint venture between Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons (DMOS), Iowa Digestive Disease Center (IDDC), and UnityPoint Health. I’ve had two surgeries at the Ankeny Surgery Center. Each time was relaxing and not nerve wrecking as Dr. Brunkhorst and his team know what they’re doing. Even with the fluid shortage they’re having because of the hurricanes they had it under control. You can definitely go in trusting them with your life. And both times when I checked in the ladies up front were very nice and polite.

They were all wonderful! They treated me like I was their only patient. I work in the medical field. I can attest to the stress as to how it can get some times. I live in Ames, and would love to have all procedures done at AMPSC if I could. Great job.
