Asian Montessori Center (AMC) is the first school in the City of San Fernando to use the revolutionary method of education discovered by an Italian doctor turned educator, Maria Montessori. The system features the individual instruction method made possible with the use of the Montessori pedagogical materials in the context of the prepared environment. It is a system which traces its origins to Bergamo, Italy where our foundress, Mrs. Erlinda B. Mamañgun, trained at Centro Internazionale Studi Montessoriani and obtained her certificate.

AMC has become synonymous to quality education with its graduates excelling in and regularly getting accepted in the country's most prestigious high schools, including the Philippine Science High School.

Since its founding, the school has remained faithful to the ideals of Montessori teaching and methods by continuing to communicate with the Association of Montessori Schools founded by Dr. Maria Montessori to keep abreast of the latest trends in Montessori education.
