The Aswan Heart Centre (AHC), established in 2009 by Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub and supported by the Magdi Yacoub Foundation, is a world-renowned, state-of-the-art cardiac hospital located in Aswan, southern Egypt. The centre was founded to provide free, high-quality, patient-centered heart care to underserved and vulnerable populations from Egypt and across Africa, with a particular focus on children and those who would otherwise lack access to advanced cardiac treatment
