1. I had a Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) done here by Dr Sutter. I can only say that I felt lucky to have been treated by a wonderful team of health care professionals and I feel content knowing that there are good people out there to help those of us in need. For whomever who needs to know this, I highly recommend this part of the hospital. And whenever I have been there, I have just been so proud of the team. Thank you all.
2. At the end of the 1920s, more than fifty thousand North Africans lived in the Seine department. This population worries the authorities. In 1925, the Paris municipal council created a section for indigenous North African affairs attached to the police headquarters. During the following decade, while France "celebrates" the centenary of the conquest of Algeria, the Paris mosque, the Franco-Muslim hospital and the Muslim cemetery which depends on it were simultaneously inaugurated.
