1. Turned up at Da Nang General Hospitals very very busy A&E dept. one evening with my partner unable to breath. She was put straight on oxygen. Communicated with the doctor via Google translate and after numerous tests she was diagnosed with a very serious lung infection and kept in overnight on the local ward to stabilise her condition. Next morning she had a CT Scan which confirmed the diagnosis and she was transferred to a private ward in the hospital as we had medical travel insurance.
The staff were friendly and extremely professional in A&E and once in the private ward the the the attention to detail and professionalism was just as good if not better than any hospital in the UK
2. The last-stand hospital of the city is renowned for its high quality with a variety of modern technical equipments. Sometimes it is too crowded due to the enormous amount of patients from other provinces which also come here for health care service.
