1. Minor issue that a visiting doctor was unable to resolve led to a visit on a Tuesday evening. ER waiting area has about 10 people in it. Reception took my details right away, then it was about a 30-45 minute wait to be seen / triaged by a nurse and then about another 30 minutes to see a doctor. The doctor was quick and efficient and the issue was resolved in under 5 minutes.
2. I cannot begin to thank the staff of the ER and the unit of 9th floor/North East (I think it’s the digestive/gastric/bariatric surgery unit) enough! Cristos, Sara, Bridget, other doctors whose names I forget, and the kind nurses and nurse aids of this unit were simply angels who cared for my fiancé in a moment of desperate need due to a sudden medical emergency. Thank you all once again! I hope the universe conspires to manifest good things you all deserve. And while I understand others may have different experiences at l’hôpital bichat, we have no complaints, only gratitude for the quality of the medical care received, especially as foreigners.
