Since 1959, Big Horn Hospital Association has been dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare to Hardin and the surrounding communities. In 1974, Big Horn County enhanced local healthcare options by constructing a 34-bed nursing home attached to the hospital, followed by the opening of a new clinic to meet growing patient demands. By 1982, Big Horn Hospital Association further expanded to include an outpatient rehabilitation facility and added resources to accommodate specialized care. These developments positioned Big Horn Hospital to address a range of healthcare needs—from preventive to urgent care—ensuring patients can access essential services close to home.
