Since 5th January 2007, Bangladesh Institute of Thyroid & Imaging Research (BITMIR) as a pioneer in providing ultrasound education, clinical care and research the center coordinates the activities of several medical center and departments involved in diagnostic ultrasound & thyroid medicine. Bangladesh Institute of Thyroid Medicine & Imaging Research (BITMIR) is affiliated with World Association of Integrated Medicine (WAIM), Delhi & supported by Bangladesh Society of Ultrasonography. In last 19 years we have successfully completed 78 batches of ADMU (Advance Diploma in Medical Ultrasound), 5 batches of DMUD (Diploma of Medical ultrasound in Diagnosis), 203 batches of CMU (Certificate in Medical Ultrasound), 24 batches of CEC(Certificate Course in Echo-cardiography), 66 batches of TVS (Certificate in Trans-vaginal ultrasound), 27 batches of CDU (Certificate in Color Doppler Ultrasound) 12 batches of CTM (Certificate course in Thyroid Medicine), 15 batches of CFMU (Certificate in 4D Feto-Maternal ultrasound). About 16500 (Sixteen thousand five hundred) doctors has passed from BITMIR during past 20 years, they are now working in different hospital in Bangladesh & abroad.
